The Best Personal Item Tote for Work and Business Travel

For years, during my retail corporate days, I traveled constantly for both work and personal trips and somehow always ended up carrying two separate bags, one for work and another for travel.

My work bag looked polished enough for meetings, but it was never practical for travel. My travel bag held more, but had little to no organization or structure. Every time I traveled, I found myself transferring everything back and forth between bags: laptop, chargers, cables, notebook, wallet, beauty essentials, travel documents… over and over again.

At the time, I accepted it as part of the routine because I couldn’t find one bag that truly worked for both.

Then hybrid work happened.

Like many women, I suddenly found myself carrying even more every day other than just my laptop. It included my chargers, cables, mouse, headphones etc.

My work bag became heavier and heavier, to the point where my shoulders constantly hurt. And while there were plenty of bags on the market, I struggled to find one that felt like me.

Most options were either too bulky, too corporate, tech-y or lacked quality or structure.

I personally wanted something lightweight, elevated, functional, and versatile enough to move seamlessly from work to travel to everyday life without needing to constantly switch bags and coming from a retail background, I wanted the bag with a low-key, downtown style. 

That ultimately became the inspiration behind TYVY.
